Okay, I can no longer claim that I'm getting "settled". I think we are settled relatively well now in Colorado. Lots of stuff going on, but lots of doing nothing, also. First, we sold our condo in San Francisco...we are so glad to have that cash in our account now. We have found an agent here in Denver and have officially started our home search. We are looking for a Mid-Century Modern home (AKA A Brady Bunch House minus the polyester), so it may take us a while. But, living in Boulder, the land of the Subaru, temporarily is good stuff.
This is what I miss about San Francisco
- Our California friends!
- Golden Gate Park
- Blue Bottle Coffee
- Grocery store right across the street from home
- Golden Gate Bridge
Here is what I'm loving again about Colorado
- The Flatirons
- Casual Living - I am wearing my daily uniform of khaki shorts, tank top and flip flops
- Eating dinner outside on the deck every night
- Good public pools
- Sunshine!
- Kid filled neighborhood
- Green chiles
- Our old Boulder friends
- A Target within a mile
- Rocky Mountain National Park
- Beautiful clouds, thunder and Lightening (check out the picture of the huge cloud above)
- Saving $50 on my hair cut and color...yea!
- Two great small wine shops with great selections
Colorado features I haven't quite acclimated to yet
- Dryness - my nose is so dry and I am going through huge amounts of moisturizer
- Crazy pack of foxes running around the neighborhood
I'm on facebook now, so look me up there. I'll post more often again!

I'm glad to hear you are enjoying CO. I have to say, looking at your pictures makes me miss living in the midst of the Rockies. Congrats on selling your condo; I guess the housing market is still alive in SF. I think of you guys whenever I go down Arguello. I hope we can get out to CO to visit once you're all settled in your new home. How does Ty like Colorado?
