4 Weeks to Go

We have four weeks to go and we (Tim) has finished 95% of Bathroom #1. My mom was out last weekend and we put her to work. She helped me paint baby furniture red and then helped Tim stage his slate tiling. We demolished bathroom #2 this weekend and are happy to say that we never have to demolish anything in this condo. We'll be so happy when the remodeling is all done! I've attached a before picture of the main bathroom and an "in progress" picture, also. I'll post a picture of the completely finished bathroom picture next week. Now, we just are trying to get all of our supplies in for bathroom #2 before Baby Boy arrives!!!

5 1/2 Weeks To Go...And lots of projects to finish

We are in the countdown to baby boy. Tim and I are halfway through our birth classes with our doula, which are really nice. I am in the midst of selecting a postpartum doula who can make sure we don't do anything really stupid to the new baby boy.

Of course, when you're about to have a baby, you should really tackle some huge nesting projects, right? Tim started remodeling our two bathrooms, as it is the last real project that we need to do in our condo. We navigated the San Francisco Building permit department, so we are even legal. If we had any idea that it wasn't so terrible, we wouldn't have put off our projects for so long. Pictures of the new pretty bathrooms are forthcoming.

My mom will be out from Louisiana this weekend for a small baby shower. It's really more of an excuse to see everyone and to get my mom out to SF.
